I’m gonna blame the author here instead of the translator by saying this is one of the worst writing I’ve ever seen.
First: the MC is a dumbass, which is to be expected from an assassin who used to be a dog, but he’s also immature & Scatterbrained which are qualities a veteran assassin will NEVER have.
Second: the first disciple discussion was terrible, I don’t even know what he was going for there.
Third: meeting a powerful figure who can easily kill you with no consequences will ALWAYS be dangerous, no need to be an “assassin king” to figure that out.
In conclusion: the Author sucks.
