Mc just happened to be picked by the tower. What the mc needs to do is clear. To protect the ones he cares about, he needs to destroy anything or anyone that gets in the way of him reaching the top of the tower while gathering divinity from people in a way that is helping others that improves their lives instead of divinity from fear and oppression.
