You weren’t paying attention to the earlier chapters then. EVERYONE that the MC has gotten involved with has had NOTHING GOOD to say about the first emperor and then the current heir to the throne being a good person was talking to that shadow in the window and then he threw the MC and his master into prison while saying things he didn’t normally say. You could see it coming from a mile away that the 1st Emperor was behind all of this and was plotting something.
