They axed it coz the actual good character the dragon died and then everything felt bland. Author got lucky this got adapted based on his story earlier coz it was peak but his writing isn’t skilled enough to sustain tension so he fked up the power scaling
Hopefully the end of this chapter is the teaser for a sequel where he fights with his old master. I also hope to see more of his life with his wife, mother, and friends. Maybe they’ll be there spiritually (heck even physically) when he embarks on a new journey
