I find the thin line between good and evil in some isekai stories a bit confusing. Typically, the plot always punishes unjustified murder equally.
I’m not saying it’s not interesting, and I’ve enjoyed it, but it’s very strange to me to see a protagonist murdering in cold blood to prevent bad things he knows will happen from happening.
In this particular case, it might even make sense, since the protagonist knows for sure what will happen if he does nothing, which increases the responsibility for the future on him, being able to prevent it but relying on questionable methods to do so. But the character’s indifference makes the situation much murkier. Technically, the protagonist has become a psychopath.
