I’m still salty about him never really using Regnator, author kept teasing us into thinking he might use Regnator. In the D+ gate, there’s too many people and he can’t fully control its power, so that’s excusable, same thing in the castle, there might be collateral damage. But when Plank threw him into the chapel, so that Raul can stop holding back, he still doesn’t use it!! And instead of making it so that when he’s on death’s door, Regnator possesses him and that’s how he gets a power boost, the author decides to give him a bs second wind and power up because now he’s “100% synced” like that makes any sense. Also what’s with Plank becoming aware of the world anyways? Another commenter mentioned that the world of Connect is a real world in the novel, so having Plank realizing that he’s in a game is genuinely stupid. Also, what kind of power was that?? He’s 100% synced in so now he’s stronger and is able to use his abilities more efficiently? What even was his realization?? He says that he resolves himself to accept this world as his new world and now his new realization is that none of that shit matters because it’s all a game?? Just throwing out the character development from the scene with the old lady.
