Yeah…. This doesn’t make much sense. Nothing so far has made sense. If MC is struggling THIS much when he’s literally having the answers hand-fed to him with his ability, how the hell did anyone else make it this far? Especially if the public guide was actually filled with lies? My best guess is that only the rich have a proper guide that they are just with-holding from the general public so that only they can actually clear the tower. But that wouldn’t make much sense either since you are supposedly kicked out of the tower if you fail it at any point, so it wouldn’t take long for people following the lie ridden public guide to realize it’s wrong. Eventually a proper guide would get out there, regardless of whether the rich want it or not. If not in the tower, but anonymously outside the tower a proper guide would get out.
Another thing. How the hell is MC the first person to get that S-rank item? It was just out in plain sight and anybody who decided to follow the goblins to check how many they were dealing with would find it basically immediately just like MC did.
This story is full of plot-holes. I’ll continue reading it, but it’ll be hard to take this story seriously given how short-sighted the world-building seems.
