i get the feeling she may briefly have feelings for MC, but give up on them given annie’s feelings for MC and not feeling it right to have feelings for someone a “princess” already has feelings for (breaking the status as guard and princess, as they would both be on the “same level” if they both marry the same man) as well as her status as a guard and him being a noble.
