   How do you expect the MC to know everything when he never even witnessed most of what happened? He was a goody two-shoes with no real knowledge or support, and he spent most of his time training from what i understand. You can't expect him to know something he never learned or saw.    I saw many people complaining how Vinchen/Daven is lacking judgement skills though he has a lot of experience from 500 years ago. I think it is because, right now he is drunk off the power he just gained and it was needed for hem to get taught some lesson, also he was experienced 500 years ago, many things has changed, just remember the fact the heavenly exoskeleton he possess now was forgotten/abandoned by people in this current time. Everything also the basics in the past has changed. Just look how he was strongest without any blessings but know shit everyone got unique blessing and you can’t even win against them without having a good blessing To begin with.

   So this is the hidden key he was talking about in chapter 91, Hmm its interesting that even though the theory of both Julian & vinchen about who's arrangement this & timeline gaps of both the parties are making this unrelated, in the end the hidden piece occurs out of nowhere after defeating the guardian like a KEY QUEST ITEM (just like in chapter 19 & 70) Also the interesting part is just how arrangement of that male dragon relate to that female. Is it because the both able control water?

    Ok, so now that Vinchen has his shadow back, I can say that aside from the goof at the beginning of his shadowless arc, the only artistic goofs that I saw were the times when our boy had definition shadows (his hair casting a shadow over his face, arm in shadow cast from the rest of his body, etc), which should count as his shadow as it was his body that was blocking the light, and also his sword, when not on his person had a shadow, yet didn't when worn at his side, despite the fact that the sword was there when Vinchen lost his shadow, now that one I'm not too fussed over, as his sword isn't him, but still, I think it should also count as it was apart of him when the shadow was taken, yet when separated from him, the sword has a shadow

    Yeah if your used to drinking at around 10,000ft above sea level your tolerance at lover elevations is stupid high. If you try drinking up here an your not used to the altitude? The Casino I work at is pretty used to big guys getting wasted after 2-3 drinks.

       Ah, yeah. USPS gets a bit bitchy when you try shipping alcohol international. That said, made the mistake once of getting in a drinking contest with an Aussie. When you toss the guy with German/Irish/Scottish heritage that started drinking when they lived at high altitude and an Aussie the immigrated to the states the only winner is the bar that took $6K from us.

       You think that’s bad I celebrate Yule for 3 day because I’m not independently wealthy (also my boss loves it cause I’m the only other heathen at work so we both get to take time off and get drunk together then still get holiday pay). The traditional celebration was an entire month centered around winter solstice where you drank mead or ale and feasted. I don’t want to imagine the hangover or cost of trying to keep up a diet like that for a full month.

             Hey I swap with a friend two states away. Can’t brew my own due to living in a rented place right now but I’m living under my income so I can save to buy land for a few reasons- keep my own hives so I have my own source of honey for mead, and room to plant some fruit trees and build a proper forge/smithy

       Uh, want to say at least 6 months? I ordered them from Drekkar Meadery in Colorado (usually my Yule ale is from Brother’s Drake in Ohio but a friend recommended Drekkar) Also wouldn’t use the usual math to determine how drunk I would be after anything, I’m diagnosed hypermetabolic so pretty much anything that goes into my system get’s broken down way faster than normal. Handy for staying sober when drinking, not so great when it comes to things like pain medications.

    Unlikely; Vinchen is an Adenca in name only, however only him and Julian are aware of that fact, due primarily to his being a reincarnation. Kagon is possessed by Kajin, and is slowly being turned into a copy of that bastard, whereas Raven, despite what the other heads said, may resemble his father in his youth, we haven't seen that yet, so whilst Raven may grow into the same kind of man as his father, it's unlikely as I believe that Vinchen's influence may change Raven's developmental trajectory. Either that or Raven'll be haunted by the Adenca progenitor's ghost, and thus end up adopting some of said ghosts mannerisms

    Basically Vinchen arrived too early, instead of going from points A -> B -> C -> D -> E, he's gone from A -> B, heard about point D, skipped C entirely, and is now at point E, but doesn't possess the proof that he completed points C & D yet. However the Dragon King that set up this trial, potentially predicted that such an occurrence may happen, so left a piece of the proof from one of the other points, (I'm saying C, considering that I believe point D is the dragon behind the waterfall, and Vinchen will need Poseidon's blessing to access that dragon's cave, so the rest of the blessing is likely at point C), just incase someone accidentally decided to not do the trials in the proper order

    Recall Daven was also a Samion, and he did have a superior smirk, two infact. The first when Kajin stabbed him, Daven smirked because Kajin's actions proved that not only was Daven stronger in that instance, but also the superior Martial Artist by virtue of Kajin literally stabbing him in the back; Kajin whom was praised as a genius of the Samion, has, with his own hands, revealed himself to be a spoilt, petulant, and cruel child, that would use dishonourable tactics to cowardly kill those whom slight him. The second time Daven smirked was when after hearing about why he was in prison, and could barely move his limbs, he realised that the Samion's were so conceited in regards to Kajin, that even his own parents would rather sell out Daven than let the shame that the one armed fool of the Samion clan beat the genius golden child Kajin, and played it out in such a way that made Daven be the villain, so even when Daven had not only succeeded in beating Kajin, and Kajin showing off his true colours, Kajin is protected, and Daven is tossed aside, yet even with all that, during the sentencing, Daven smirked, such as to say, "I'm not giving you bastards the satisfaction, I'll still resist these outrageous charges til the day I die." and although the second smirk didn't last, he still didn't give in.

    Now as Vinchen, when the efforts he puts in is rewarded, not because he's the son of the family head, but because he's actually putting in the effort, the Samion in him is reacting, it also doesn't hurt that everytime he does smirk, either someone has just done exactly what he wanted them to do, and as such have played right into his hand, or Vinchen is projecting an air of superiority to save face as it were

    As I'm in catchup mode and have recently read the last few chapters here's the scenario, in case you were still wondering:
    a) Laurent succumbs to the second 'Grace' he consumed
    b) Old man's about the consume a 'Grace' but gets punched out of both the stage and consciousness by Demon Laurent, impact was hard enough to leave a bloody imprint, a casual look at the Old Bastard makes it seem like he died then and there
    c) Chaos erupts in the stands as citizens try to flee from the newly diabolical Laurent, such that the family heads arrive to intercede against the demon
    d) Vinchen pleads his case before the family heads, succeeds and performs his three moves, which the family heads are focused on, along with the demon, should they have to step up
    e) Vinchen's thrid move connects, nothing happens, everyone that would notice the Old Bastard still being alive is hyper focused on Vinchen, because it looks like he's about to be killed
    f) Outer demonic shell is cracked, and Laurent is left, unconscious but alive, and Vinchen is about to faint, civilians cheer over the defeat of the demon
    g) Vinchen gives his speech, reporters and revolutionaries are stirred up, and Vinchen faints, the family heads are surprised, and now that the danger has passed are focused on getting Vinchen medical aid
    h) the family heads rib into Khan over how he's become a doting father, and I'm guessing sometime between points 'e' and 'h' the Old Bastard has regained consciousness and has fled, and so long as he didn't have murderous intent, the family heads likely didn't notice

    It's part of his past from back when he was Daven, before reincarnating as Vinchen; because of the struggles he had with only his left arm, as well as the fact that he wasn't in any way, shape, or form talented, Daven earned his strength and skills through the training and torture he went through. Now, reborn as Vinchen, and seeing the shape of Martial Artists in this era, especially those who either don't earn, or deserve their strength, he lops off their arm. Now I can't recall if it were due to him wanting them to taste the struggles he went through in his past life, or if it's a subconscious thing, but that's essentially why, and in most cases he's right to do so. It a) weakens if not cripples most enemies, especially Martial Artists, and b) it keeps them alive to answer for any crimes that they've done
