   This might just be the most hillariously terrible manhua I've ever read! I'm convinced the art is almost entirely AI generated. Someone clearly edited out any weird artifacts, but no amount of editing is going to get rid of that static mannequin quality AI-generated characters tend to have. Also, the translation is an absolute mess of english words just strung together in incoherent nonsensical combinations that, from time to time, manage to form vaguely readable sentences. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen often enough for me to have anything more than a general idea of what's happening at any given moment; and if it wasn't for the pictures I'd likely be completely lost. However, this completely asinine plot is arguably even more of a mess than the translation, with cliche tropes and plot devices popping up with virtually ZERO explanation or discernible context. Worse is that these tropes so tired and beaten-to-death that they might as well be zombie horses at this point. If my steak was this overdone not even my dog would eat it.

   Rant continues in more detail below (not spoilers). Read at your own discretion:
   For example, we are "introduced" (if you can even call it that) to our MC while he's being shaken down by a local bully for a poorly-defined nonsensical resource/commodity, and all the onlookers are cheering for the bully because the MC is "weak". So, in other words, exactly the same MC introduction as n-thousand other manhua; I can only assume that the MC will embarrass his tormentor in a couple of chapters, because SURPRISE! He's actually "stronk". Anyway, we're then told something barely understandable about "divine domains" which, fully faithful to groan-worthy manhua tradition, turns out to be some kind of virtual reality thing that, in addition to the pod and heavy equipment, we find out later also utilizes some kind of trading cards (cue eye-roll), which are capable of forcing access to these virtual domains. Whether that forced access is corporeal or psychological in nature, they don't say, but either way, the equipment they took the time to show us earlier appears to be entirely unecessary for this process to work, and thus seems to have been rendered completely irrelevant after only a few panels. It's almost impressive they were able to pack this many plot holes and cliches into just two chapters, not to mention making one of several plot devices obsolete so quickly after being introduced! I think someone would have to try very VERY hard to make something worse than this. In fact, my previous "Worst Manhua Ever": Rise from the Rubble, has now officially been deposed. Anyone who's read it will understand: calling this manhua "worse" is saying A LOT! In Rise from the Rubble, at the very least, it was possible to more-or-less understand what was happening at any given time. This manhua, however, managed to come off as completely incoherent. So congratulations, "Spirit Sacrifice: The Path to Godhood"! You've managed to usurp the "Worst Manhua Award". That said, with the industry's manhua machine churning out more garbage by the day, who knows if you'll be able to keep your crown….
