I already said this in some other comment section but we can't really blame them can we. In this story mc died while he had crossed his sixties, while those mass produced stories have mc who died at most in their twenties and thirties and reincarnate. Also realistically neither 20 or 30 is an age where people really get wisdom. Only a few who have immense responsibilities or some who are just mature early can get that wisdom. You can't expect this world to have that many people who have the true wisdom right. This is one of those few manhwas where mc died in truly an old age and reincarnated.

I think the major difference, apart from better writing, is that MC reached the peak and lived a fulfilled life with not many regrets.

On topic, I think most Korean regressors or reincarnator usually die around their 20s or early 30s. So, you’re right on that.
But there are still few where they reached an elderly age before dying.
One that comes to mind is Volcanic Age.
In that one, although I wouldn’t say the MC is childish, he definitely doesn’t have a wise and mature character like the MC of this Manhwa.
So, maybe it’s still just a matter of writing ability at the end of the day.

Well, As a murim alliance leader he didn't have loyal factions to him except for the two or three people and treir factions. Others were bound to submission. But most crucial of all he didn't have any descendents nor disciples. Nor did he nurture someone to takeover his reigns when he steps down as the leader or dies. As per lots of murim manhwas I read they have multiple wives and concubines and politically makes other factions loyal to him. He should have left descendents , multiple disciples from loyal factions and he shold have stepped down when he was old and and elect one of his trusted and capable descendent/disciple/person as the next leader.
It's not that easy but he basically did nothing of these sorts either then keep murim save under his reign. It's only natural what's happening now.

Just my opinion, but I think it would be interesting if a woman of high status developed feelings for him. It wouldn’t just add romance, but also create more tension and conflict, especially if she comes from a powerful background. That could lead to more enemies with higher status and stronger abilities, forcing the protagonist to train even harder and become even more overpowered. It would also add depth to the story, since he’d have to navigate not just fights, but also the political and social struggles that come with it. That kind of development could make things way more intense and engaging.

His mental age is uhh, yeah… anyways a regular lady could also produce some arch about protecting family or something, while I feel a well off one would be more about forcing himself into high society and/or more unnecesary stuff with the current alliance leader's family and clan.
