If it's still adding new characters/world elements and not filling up previous elements by then, I agree, it's a drop; give the author time to cook though. It's only like what, 30-40 minutes out of your day?
I'd recommend blacklisting netorate tags on whatever website you use so you don't have to engage with it at all, cause applying that "drop before i get sucked in" habit to other mang/hwas will sometimes make you miss out on a potentially great story (or just work on the sunk cost fallacy, whichever applies)
