is it just me or do isekai manhuas that just put you in an already fully grown body start out really weird, like it get it if its like a hero summoning or smth, but if it really is reincarnation why put them in a fully grown body, like tf happens to the person they reincarnated as
Generally it get implied at some point that the original “soul” died and was replaced by the isekaier. Given his family the original dying seems likely
most plot would be like this ~
plot 1 : the owner summon the wandering soul for revenge at the cost of his own soul ( perish as sacrifice )
plot 2 : the owner got into deep slumber as summoning penalty. it’s like two souls in one body.
plot 3 : the owner him/herself got his/her soul switched, but because the later body is death, he/she become a wandering soul waiting for another summoning list~
Nah, that’s not just you. I call it lazy plotting. In this case, the MC isn’t *reincarnated* but *transmigrated* — his soul just hops into another body after death, here a demon’s body. The author probably went, “Hey, what if the MC is a demon? That’d be cool,” and ran with it.
As for what happened to the original owner of the body — well, the author clearly didn’t care. He was just a disposable plot pawn. It’s one of those stories where the writer doesn’t bother thinking deeper or trying to make it make sense, so you know not to expect anything serious.
If the author *had* wanted to justify it, they could’ve just said the old demon got wiped out in some ritual gone wrong… or just right (siblings poisoning, stabbing — demon family stuff). But no, the real point was to make the MC look “special” in a body everyone thinks is trash. Classic ego-boost setup
