While I do think they’re stupid, I only think declining to try the food was the most questionable choice (at least the servant could’ve taste tested it.)
Thing about this very journey is that he was recommended by the guild, and is a decent rank of said guild, so unless their prejudice is past experience, they’re a little too on edge.
i do understand this feeling like how stupid they are , and else, but i also get the imagination about how worse the image of “barbarian” in here. here’s an example “you are going on a journey with tribal who are very known at their cannibalism trait and their tend of failing to control their emotion and killing their friend , and you have no choice to walk with this tribal bc you’ve paid a trusted organisation for them to protect you from others harm” if we look it in this way , then their fear did justified , even tho this specific tribal looks “kinda different ” it won’t be easy to change that mindset in a mere days if there are no special events to prove that this tribal are really and not by coincidence are totally different than the other tribal. that’s what i get. what about y all?

I really do not get why everyone is so against him… he talks normally; he looks handsome (sure he’s big and that makes him a lottle intimidating. But he does his best to show his kind heart and sophistication), he is extremely talented and does everything he can to make the journey as good as possible for those 2 idiots.
Yet they keep rejecting everything he doesnor tries to do for them…
I honestly would have voiced my frustration by now. To ask them: “What do you giys want from me? I try to make the trip as comfortable as we can. And yet everything I do you 2 throw back into my face. Why? If you 2 do not want me here, I can return back to the village. Or maybe I can just continue on my own way and leave both of you here. Like both of you be rather doing to me. So it’s time we clear something up! Shall we?
