Less trying to whitewash and more like the pain of the world, circumstances and reality makes people into assholes (at least I think that is the “theme” of this story). When the world is shit, you end up covered in it no matter what you do.
I’m still gonna hate and dislike certain characters regardless of circumstances while others I might sympathize with. This is one of those times where I think the ending of “everyone dies” could actually be considered a “good” ending for such a story.

yeah this is in the first few chapters but after that idek what happening, for example the mother plot line is gone now cuz she was healed and is terrified of the MC now, the bully plot line is a weird B-plot where his power changed from making diamond constructs, to having the ability to steal others people powers? The mc's power changed from super regen to exoskeleton which is strange because now it doesn't explain how he can regenerate at all, it made sense for him to be covered in bone armor before cuz bones get stronger and grow when you damage them little by little and let them heal, we see an extreme case of that with the MC. But now just having it as exoskeleton doesn't make any sense considering how he's been turned into literal paste multiple times and just healed from it. Its fine to retcon/change shit about a story but they at least gotta make it make sense, rn its just a "villain of the week" type story where a new SSS class hero comes in, beats up the MC a lot, then the mc heals and kills them.

alotta stuff just happening, no real explanations, no real progress, just a whole lotta stuff happening.
